  • 1/2 head cabbage, cut into bite size pieces.

  • 3 large onions, sliced

  • 1 head celery, cut into bite size pieces

  • 1 can of chopped tomato

  • 1 large green pepper, cut into bite size pieces

  •  1 large carrot, cut into bite size pieces

  • Season to taste with salt, pepper

  • some fresh parsley.

  • 2.5 L of water or vegetable broth

 

Directions:

  1. Sauté green onions with cooking spray in a saucepan for a second.

  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients, and add enough water or broth to cover everything.

  3. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down, and simmer until vegetables are soft.

  4. Blend if preferred.

  5. Eat all the soup you want, whenever you want.

Note : Please  consult a doctor before starting the cabbage soup diet. This is vital especially for  people who have special dietary needs. Do not follow this diet for more than a period of seven days.
